De Twintigers: 10 young promising musicians on Klara in 2023
I'm very happy to announce I am selected as one of ten young musicians in VRT Klara's 'De Twintigers 2023'. I recorded a concert at VRT's Studio Toots with Tristan Baars and Arne Lagatie in the beginning of February. It will be released online (VRT MAX) on the 13th of March. That same week, I will be interviewed on Klara! I'm looking forward to share all of this with you, I'm really grateful for this opportunity! I'll keep you posted. (13/2/23)

Jazz Middelheim 2022
We had an amazing concert at Jazz Middelheim with 'Flight of the Black Zebra ft. Jakob Bro'. It was such an amazing experience to play with Jakob Bro and to play at this legendary festival.

Flight of the Black Zebra feat. Jakob Bro (***)
'Ook dit jaar zette Jazz Middelheim een project op het getouw met studenten van het Antwerpse conservatorium. Mentor van dienst: gitarist Jakob Bro. De minzame Deen kwam in mei naar ons land om enkele dagen te brainstormen met Cedric De Lat (trompet), Milan Verbist (piano), Jasper De Roeck (contrabas) en Simon Van Brandt (drums).
Projecten als deze kunnen al eens tegenvallen: sommige studenten bevriezen door de stress, soms deugen de composities niet. Net daarom was deze editie een uitschieter. Trompettist De Lat kreeg de ondankbare taak om in de schoenen van Bro's trompetbroeder Tomasz Stanko te staan, maar hij deed het met verve. De gelegenheidsband wist de typische ECM-sound van klaterende bergbeekjes uitstekend te vatten. En Bro? Zijn gitaar klonk naar goede gewoonte als een oude radio die van Radio Luxembourg naar Radio Zagreb en terug wordt gedraaid, eindeloos inventief met zijn gelaagde sounds. June 2022: I Graduated!
In june 2022, I played my graduation concert at the 'Kleine Zaal' in DeSingel. After five years of studying at the Royal Conservatoire in Antwerp, I was really happy to play this concert with Tristan Baars (double bass) and Arne Lagatie (drums). There are some video's, which you can find here!

Cobalt Trio: 2nd place in '7 Virtual Jazz Club'!
I'm really happy and honored to announce that Cobalt Trio won the 2nd place in the 2021 edition of the '7 Virtual Jazz Club'! I submitted the track Milan's Blues.
I'm looking forward to enjoy the prizes, together with my fellow band members Wolf De Backer (bass) and Klaas De Somer (drums).

Kwaadham Sessions
I played a solo set on a beautiful Fazioli grand piano, during the 'KwaadHam Sessions': two weekends of solo piano concerts at 'Quatre Mains Klaviercentrum' in Ghent.
I'm very thankful for the opportunity to play at such a nice place and on a first class piano!
